Kendall is a journalist currently living in Phoenix, Ariz. and a recent graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
She has successfully completed more than three print internships with The Arizona Republic and Arizona Highways Magazine, and also spent time reporting with the ASU campus newspaper. In addition, she has been mentored by former editor of the Sacramento Bee, Rick Rodriguez, during the Southwest Borderlands Initiative—a select enterprise reporting experience for ten student journalists to uncover a variety of issues at the U.S. southern border.
Kendall prides herself on being enthusiastic, creative and aggressive in her work. Her special area of interest is in writing news and feature profiles, as well as enterprise pieces that allow her to report the news from a humanistic perspective.
In her spare time, Kendall can be found practicing yoga, playing pool, watching movies and enjoying the outdoors.
